The following documents were recorded in the 1878 Ottoman census. They should record all births and deaths in Lurucina in the 1870s. It is important to remember that officials in those days only visited a certain village every few years; deaths and births were often recorded a few years after the event.
The original document shown first is followed there-after by the translations carried out by expert Ottoman translators specifically for this website. In order to help viewers understand who the individuals are, each person has been checked, and document numbers relating to the family from the census forms has been provided (High-lighted in yellow) on the left of the screen. These are documented on pages 1 & 2 of the Ottoman archive pages.
